Yes.

KANA handles ingredient selection, sugar paste preparation, consultation, treatment, and aftercare from start to finish.

Your therapist does not change during the appointment.

Will I be asked to buy a course or ticket package?

No. MALO does not sell ticket packages or recommend high-priced course contracts.

MALO is a salon you can visit once at a time, whenever your hair or skin starts to bother you.

You will not be strongly pushed to book your next appointment after treatment.

Can I ask questions by LINE or WhatsApp before booking?

Yes. Questions only are welcome.

You can ask about which service to choose, whether your skin condition is suitable, or anything that makes you nervous before your first visit.

KANA may not be able to reply immediately during treatment, but she will respond after checking your message.

A hair length of at least 3 mm is required for treatment.

If the hair is too short, the sugar paste may not be able to catch the hair properly.

About 2 weeks after your last shave is the usual guide.

Hair growth speed varies. Even after 2 weeks, if the hair is under 3 mm, MALO may ask you to change the appointment date.

Can I receive treatment if I have sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin can be discussed before treatment.

KANA checks your skin condition and proceeds only within a reasonable range. Depending on your skin condition on the day, treatment may be postponed for safety.

Can I receive treatment if I have irritation, wounds, or inflammation?

Old scars that are fully healed may be treated after checking the skin.

Treatment cannot be performed over healing wounds, bleeding, scabs, strong inflammation, painful irritation, or similar skin conditions.

Can I receive treatment after peeling?

Please wait at least 1 week after peeling.

Even after 1 week, treatment is not possible if redness, peeling, stinging, or strong dryness remains.

If there is no redness, heat, pain, or peeling, treatment may be possible after checking the skin.

However, skin can be more sensitive and pain may feel stronger during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please prioritize your physical condition and check with your doctor beforehand if you are concerned.

Depending on your condition or skin on the day, treatment may be postponed.

Can I receive VIO sugaring during my period?

During your period, your skin may be more sensitive and pain may feel stronger. If you feel unwell or have a heavy flow, please consider changing your appointment date.

If you are seeing a doctor or using medicine, please check with your doctor before treatment.

You do not have to remove everything. A natural shape, a smaller area, or only the parts that bother you can be treated.

What posture is used for VIO treatment?

Depending on the area, KANA may ask you to lie on your back with one leg bent, lie on your side, or change posture.

KANA explains each posture before asking you to move. You will not be asked to hold an unreasonable posture.

MALO's sugar paste is made with unbleached beet sugar from Hokkaido, Setouchi lemon, and water.

KANA selects the ingredients herself and makes the paste used at the salon.

The sugar paste used at MALO is made by KANA herself.

Because temperature and humidity affect the texture of the paste, KANA adjusts it for the season and salon environment.

The paste is made with sugar, lemon, and water, but even natural ingredients cannot be guaranteed not to cause irritation or allergic reactions for everyone.

Are gloves and sheets changed for each customer?

Consumables used during treatment, including gloves and disposable sheets, are replaced with new ones for each customer.

The treatment bed sheet is also changed every time.

No.

Gloves that have touched a customer's skin do not touch the stored sugar paste again.

Most reactions calm down over time, but this depends on skin type and treatment area. The back may stay red longer than other areas.

Please avoid soaking in a bathtub on the day of treatment and take a shower instead.

Avoid hot water, long baths, and strongly rubbing the treated area.

When can I exercise, use a sauna, or swim?

Light exercise may be fine on the same day if your body and skin feel normal.

Please avoid heavy sweating, sauna, bedrock bathing, hot springs, pools, and swimming in the sea until the next day or later, after redness and stinging have calmed down.

If your skin still has a reaction, please wait until it settles.

How should I moisturize or use a scrub?

Please wait at least 2 weeks after the previous treatment and until the hair is at least 3 mm long.

Some customers feel that hair becomes finer or less dense after repeated treatments, but results vary by person.

MALO sugaring does not guarantee permanent hair removal.
